The 4th!

SO I haven't blogged since Father's Day and now it is almost August. It has been a busy month. Here are some pictures of the 4th of July festivities! It was a hectic week before the 4th. I was working til at least 8 every night and had to get the float ready for the parade, but when the 4th got here it was a blast as usual!

Fathers Day!

Well, it is 10:35pm. The ending of Rob's 7th year celebrating Fathers day. What a day it has been. I so wish that he would sit down and blog, but since he never will I am going to interrupt his Father's Day. I think deep down we all want those special days such as...birthdays, Valentine's, mother's day, and father's day...to be SPECIAL! Sadly those days seem to fall into the "just another day" category. Today can testify to that. He did get to sleep in and I made him a good breakfast. I just wish on these days things would just go splendidly, but kids still argue with parents, and kids still fight with each other, we still can't get to church on time, our yard still looks like we are having a yard sale, we still are a crazy family! Can't Heavenly Father make these days perfect...just so that we could let that person that is suppose to be celebrating enjoy their day? It would be nice...wouldn't it? Well, since we live in the real world no matter what day it is life is life...and LIFE happens! So Rob, I want just want to say happy father's day! You are a GREAT dad! Our kids and i LOVE you so much! I hope that you still had a special day even though it was a normal CrAzY one!

For Sale!

So our house is officially For Sale! We have talked about it a million times and now we actually decided to do it. I know this is probably not going to be an easy task, but we will see how it goes. It is kind of sad because we have LOVED our home and our neighborhood, but we have really outgrown it. We have no plans on what we will do if it sells. Hoping that we will be able to find an existing home that will suit our needs. So just a waiting game now! If you know of anyone who may be looking please visit jensonhome.blogspot for details!

Gilly turned 7!

Gillyin turned 7 on the 6th. (So very weird) She has grown up so fast. She is such a great little girl. She puts up with so much from her brothers and I feel bad because she has to be the responsible child and an example to her siblings. I think her favorite phrase is..."Ugh, this is the worst day EVER!"...even if she has had the best day ever. Such a diva. Oh, Gillyin...what is to come? I hope you had a good birthday, sis! We sure do LOVE YOU Gilly Bean!

Fisher!!!

Fisher turned 3 on the 2nd! We celebrated on the houseboat. When we asked how old he was he would say, "NOTHIN'!". I baked him a cake...which I have never done for birthdays, but there wasn't a Wal-Mart on the water. Let me just say baking in a tiny oven and not having any source of being level is my excuse for baking a slanted, slightly burnt on the bottom, chocolate fudge cake! I am glad he is 3 and not 13 or I would have never heard the end of my ghetto cake! Ithard to believe he is 3. He is such a little funny man! He is always cracking us up. I am SO thankful that he is apart of our family. WE LOVE YOU FISHERMAN!

May

Life has been SO busy! I think MAY is always a busy month. So....at the beginning of the month I had the Miss Sevier pageant. This being my second year doing it I thought that it would be so much easier, but it was just as stressful as last year. It was a busy week with 12 young ladies from Sevier County. As much WORK as it is....I LOVE DOING IT! The girls are a lot of fun to be around and I am glad that I can contribute my time to our community. It is very rewarding. THANK YOU to all of you that helped me and came to watch! The theme this year was "Pure Country" and THAT it was...in the PUREST sense! It will be fun to work with the girls who are in the royalty this year! Good Luck, Ashley with Miss Richfield!

Heston has started t-ball! That has been a lot of fun! His team is the Lugnuts...there could not be a better name for a group of 5 and 6 year old boys! Rob is also coaching Heston's team.

Last week Heston graduated from one of his preschools and then had another preschool graduation this week. I can't believe he is going to be in Kindergarten. He had such a great experience going to preschool and had such wonderful teachers.

Gillyin and Heston also had a dance recital this week. It is always fun to watch them dance. Our battery died in our camera...so unprepared! It is taking SO long to get the videos downloaded...I give up!

I think that is about it for now, but there is still a week and a half left in the month and we will have Rob's grandma's 90th b-day party, Gilly's last week of 1st grade, and then we are leaving for Lake Powell on the 30th!
