I have been noticing the last week or so that my kids have been saying and doing some funny stuff. I wish I could remember it all, but here are few...
1.Fisher asked me the other day where the Easter Bunny lived. I told him that he lives in a big hole in the ground, called a burrow. He asks..."Like dranpa Melvin?"
2.The other night after getting Heston's jammas on he sat down in my lap. He then starts to talk about the jets on his pajama pants. Telling me which ones were faster and so on. Also on his pants is an outline of a cityscape...he points to it and says..."This is a city. I'm pretty sure it is Northica."
#3 is probably one of those...you had to be there things
3. Yesterday morning Gillyin tells me she will be wearing her High School Musical shirt to school. I don't let her wear it to school much because, well, I am not a fan of clothes and shoes with cartoons or movie things on them. Because I don't want to be a horrible mother I let her wear it. I french braided a headband in her hair and then put her hair in pigtails. K, so she rode the bus home with a friend after school. At 6 I go to pick her up from her friends house and one of her pigtails has fallen out. She tells me that the rubber band broke before school even started. I asked her why she just didn't pull the other one out and she shrugged her shoulders. Ok? Last night I was telling Rob about her fab new hair style...Gillyin then says, "Yeah, I bet I looked like a total idiot in my picture!".....WHAT?....She had spring pictures yesterday at school! I had completely forgot! After that I had this image in my mind of the photographer taking her picture...and what a little rag muffin she must have looked like. PRICELESS! I couldn't stop laughing. Now I am thinking I SO should have bought a packet of pictures...
